CHS Swim Team To Represent Program at City and State Meets
The CHS Swim Team competed on Friday, October 9, at Kenilworth Swim Club and competed well to put themselves in position to represent the program at the city and state meets in the upcoming weeks.
“The weather was fantastic and the kids cheered hard for their teammates. The season is winding down now to our championship meets after working on qualifying the last month,” said swimming head coach and CHS alumnus Doug Logsdon ’02.
Swimming at nearby Kenilworth allowed the team to walk to Olympia Stadium to watch the CHS Football team open district play with a victory over East Ascension after enjoying a team meal and fellowship to complete the day’s swimming events.
The swim team will next be in action on October 23 and 24 against McGill-Toolen of the Mobile, Alabama, area at the Pennington YMCA.
