CHS Swimmer Colin Bone Verbally Commits to Auburn University

CHS senior swimmer Colin Bone has verbally committed to swim for Auburn University. Bone is a 2016 Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100m freestyle and is the Louisiana high school composite record holder in the 100/200 freestyles. Bone is a five-time All-American and two-time member of the USA Swimmingí´s Scholastic All-American Team.

“Congratulations to Colin on this awesome achievement. Colin truly deserves this as he is one of the hardest working swimmers in the state. He has already earned six individual and six relay state championships, broken multiple LHSAA records, and helped CHS win back-to-back state championships.  We are excited to see what he will do in his senior year at CHS. Auburn is lucky to get Colin and we look forward to great things from him in college,” said CHS Swimming Head Coach Doug Logsdon.
