CHS To Host Parent Collaboration Meeting
Catholic High will host a Parent Collaboration meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. in the CHS gym.
Gwynn Shamlin from ICARE will present the results of the ICARE survey given to students two years ago. Tanya Stuart will follow with a presentation on substance abuse.
While CHS has discussed this information in the past, substance abuse is a critical area about which all parents need to be informed. Participants will learn about the dangers (some common and some very new) that adolescents face in our world today. It is Catholic Highí´s belief that the school and parents must join together to help your sons make good decisions when faced with choices involving alcohol or other drugs.
Since this information is so important, CHS wants to encourage you to attend by having a drawing at the end of the meeting for one monthí´s tuition, valued at $825. The value must be credited toward tuition and the winner must be present to win.
