CHS To Welcome Grandparents on Grandparents Day March 8
On Friday, March 8, Catholic High School will welcome grandparents and great-grandparents of all CHS students for its annual Grandparents Day celebration.
The program will begin at 2 p.m. in the gymnasium where guests will be entertained by the CHS band and chorus, participate in a prayer service led by the CHS student ministry team and hear readings presented by CHS students about their grandparents.
Due to growing numbers and safety concerns at this event, students not involved in the program will remain in their classrooms during the program and will be dismissed at 2:45 p.m. to meet their grandparents. Students and their grandparents will meet at an assigned location, determined by the last name of the student. At that time, grandparents are welcome to tour the campus with their grandsons and enjoy a reception prepared by the CHS Mothersí´ Club in the Union.
Invitations were mailed to grandparents. If a grandparent did not receive an invitation they are still encouraged to attend.
