CHS Wins Grizzly Relay Track Meet

The CHS Track team won the Grizzly Relay held at CHS on Friday. The Bears accumulated 219 points while setting two new stadium records.  Matthew Rhorer broke a 1986 record held by Lafayette High with a time of 1:56.59 in the 800 meters.  DJ Woodard broke the 300 meter hurdles record with a time of 37.40.  The Bears overall record is now 7-0 for the season.

Derrius Guice, first with a time of 11.14

200 meter: Derrius Guice, first with a time of 22.48; Khalil Thomas, second with a time of 22.61

400 meter: Phillip Rodman, first with a time of 49.76

800 meter: Matthew Rhorer, first with a time of 1:56.59

3200 meter: Joseph St. Cyr, first with a time of 9:39.38; Pierce Hill, third with a time of 10:42.06

110 meter hurdles: Arthur Price, first with a time of 14.69; Davis Richardson, third with a time of 15.15

300 meter hurdles: D.J. Woodard, first with a time of 37.40; Davis Richardson, second with a time of 39.30

4×100 relay: Catholic High, first with a time of 42.03

4×200 relay: Catholic High, first with a time of 1:27.41

4×400 relay: Catholic High, first with a time of 3:19.20

Pole Vault: Chadd Burns, first with a height of 14-6; Chandler Lemoine, second with a height of 12-0

Discus: Ross Quinlan, first with a distance of 163-07; Nigel Despinasse, second with a distance of 133-7
