CHS Wrestlers Named to All-Metro Wrestling Team

Catholic Highí´s Brandon Luckett was named Division I Class 5A Outstanding Wrestler for the 2013 All-Metro Wrestling Team.

Luckett had a record of 52-3 and won his third city title and second Division I title in the 160-pound weight class.  He finished with a career record of 147-23 and earned Metro honors for the third time.

Catholic High wrestlers named to the First Team All-Metro were Caleb Sutton, 195 pounds; Mitch Napoli, 113 pounds; Kevin Moran, 152 pounds; Myles Nash, 220 pounds; Phillip Nauta, 120 pounds; Matthew Moreau, 170 pounds; James Claitor, 138 pounds; and Christian Pittman, 182 pounds.
Second Team All-Metro wrestlers were Brennan Taylor, 132 pounds; and Matthew Mire, 138 pounds.

Head Wrestling Coach Tommy Prochaska was named Division 1 Class 5A Coach of the Year. He coached Catholic High to its 11th City Title in a row and a third place finish in Division 1 at the LHSAA State Wrestling Tournament.  Assistant Coach Sheridan Moran was also named Division I Class 5A Assistant Coach of the Year for his contributions to the CHS Wrestling Team.
