Class of 2014 Receives Senior Rings
The Presentation of the Class of 2014 and Ring Ceremony were held Wednesday, May 9, 2013, at 6 p.m. in the Catholic High School Gymnasium. Brother Ray Hebert served as celebrant and Father Trey Nelson, CHS Class of 1980, was the homilist for the mass.
Two hundred and twenty-five members of the class of 2014 were introduced as the leaders for the 2013-2014 school year and presented their senior rings. According to the “Symbolism of the Catholic High School Ring,” the Catholic High School Ring is a symbol of the loyalty, dependability and courage needed in the never-ending struggle to live up to the ideals of Christianity.
íÍIt is always exciting to see the students receive their rings. I especially like seeing the family rings and how the Catholic High ring has changed over the years,íñ commented CHS Student Activities Director Janet Vidrine.
