Class of 2016 Receives Senior Rings
The Presentation of the Class of 2016 and Ring Ceremony were held Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 6 p.m. in the Catholic High School Gymnasium. Father Trey Nelson, CHS Class of 1980, was the presider for the mass. The junior members of the CHS choir sang at the mass under the direction of Steve Galliano and they were accompanied by Tom Eldringhoff and Louis Wendt.
Two hundred and thirty five members of the class of 2016 were introduced as the leaders for the 2015-2016 school year and presented their senior rings. According to the “Symbolism of the Catholic High School Ring,” the Catholic High School Ring is a symbol of the loyalty, dependability and courage needed in the never-ending struggle to live up to the ideals of Christianity.
