Class Ring Display Accepting Donations

The Class Ring Program developed by the Class of 1996 is well on its way with their ring campaign to collect class rings from all CHS and SVA classes issued a ‘token of remembrance.’ The purpose of this program is to preserve history, instill tradition and symbolically recognize each class year. Currently, they have collected 14 rings and have commitments from eight others putting them at approximately 20 percent towards their goal.

‘To collect and display these rings will commemorate the many classes that have gone before and represent the long-standing tradition of this institution. We have a long road ahead, but we are thrilled with the opportunity set before us,’ commented David Beach ’96.

The Class of 1996 is working diligently with the Alumni Office, Alumni Board and Archives Department of Catholic High to complete this important task. If you would like to donate a ring, volunteer to serve on the collection committee, or for more information please contact the Alumni Office at (225) 383-0459.
