Colin Bone Awarded Star of Stars Award in Swimming

Colin Bone was awarded the Star of Stars outstanding trophy for swimming Wednesday evening at the LHSAA Administration office. Bone was also recognized as an Advocate Athlete of the year nominee.

He was one of three along with Jazz Ferguson from West Feliciana and Nick Brossette of U-High. Ferguson was the overall winner of the Star of Starts.

Colin was recognized for his outstanding record.  He holds the LHSAA composite state records in the 100 and 200 free and is the Division 1 record holder in the 500 Free.  He was a member of the CHS state record breaking relay team in the 400 free in 2013 and the 200 free in 2014. 
Bone is undefeated in his high school career at the LHSAA Division 1 state meet and Baton Rouge metro meet going 24-0 including relays and was the BR Boys metro swimming most valuable swimmer all three years. This is his third time receiving he Advocate Star of Stars from The Advocate.
