Cross Country Wins Third State Title in Four Years
Cross Country won their third Class 5A boys state title in four years on Monday in Natchitoches. With a total of 61 points, the Bears pulled past Brother Martin with 68 and St. Paul’s with 73 points.
Cole Stafford won the state individual title with a time of 15 minutes, 22.75 seconds. Also placing in the top 10 was Joseph St. Cyr in sixth place with a time of 16:04.15.

This is the Bears’ 16th team title overall. The victory marked the 26th time that the íÍBig Orange Waveíñ has finished the season as the state champions or state runners-up.
