Dr. Gregory A. Brandao ’73 to be Inducted into CHS Hall of Fame
Dr. Gregory A. Brandao will be inducted into the Catholic High School Hall of Fame December 4 at 7:15 p.m. at the 24th Annual Founders Banquet at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center.
Dr. Gregory Brandao, valedictorian of the Catholic High School class of 1973, currently serves as a consultant and executive trainer with Education, Research and Information Services, Inc. Dr. Brandao holds a B.S. degree in secondary math education from Louisiana State University. He earned a M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from the University of New Orleans and Ed.D. in private school administration at the University of San Francisco.
Greg served as CHS Principal from 1993 to 2004. During his 11 year tenure, Catholic High was nationally recognized four times by the Department of Education as a School of Excellence. Following his tenure as principal, he has remained active in the Catholic High community by serving as CHS Director of Development for 2 years, member of the CHS Foundation Board of Directors, organizer and presenter of the CHS ACT preparation program and member of the radio broadcast team for the Catholic High football games.
The Catholic High School Hall of Fame honors those men and women whose commitment and dedication to Catholic High School have been exemplary and whose lives embody the ideals that CHS strives to instill in its students.
