Dr. Keith Comeaux ’85 Recognized as CHS Distinguished Graduate

Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Baton Rouge honored their Distinguished Graduates at an Awards Dinner January 28, 2013 at the Renaissance Hotel.

Dr. Keith Comeaux í´85 was recognized as Catholic Highí´s Distinguished Graduate. A 1985 graduate of CHS, Comeaux currently works at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and served as flight director for the August landing of the Mars Curiosity Rover.

Catholic High graduates also honored as Distinguished Graduates of their Catholic elementary schools included Father Mark Beard í´79, Our Lady of Mercy; and Rick Bayhi í´67, St. George.

Additionally, Dr. Jason Hanks was recognized as the Outstanding Secondary Educator for the Diocese of Baton Rouge. Dr. Hanks will be recognized with his award on February 1 at the diocesan Catholic Schools Week liturgy. Representatives from all Catholic schools will attend the mass. Pete Boudreaux í´59 will receive special recognition at the liturgy for his 45 years of service to Catholic High.
