Drew Kirby Signs To Play Golf at Southern Mississippi
Senior Drew Kirby has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Southern Mississippi.
Captain of the golf team and a three-year varsity letterman, Kirby was named to the All Metro Team in 2010 and was also the Individual Medalist in the 5-A Regional Tournament. He led the Bears to a State Runner-Up finish.
In 2009, Kirby was named to the All State Golf Team and was the Individual Runner-up in the 5-A Regional Tournament. The Bears again finished as State Runner-Up.
According to Golfweek magazine, Kirby is ranked #2 in Louisiana, # 78 in the National Ranking for the Class of 2011, and #162 overall. He was recently named to the 2011 All District team and tied for Medalists in the 5-5A Tournament.
Kirby is an honor student with a 3.74 grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society, a Student Ambassador and a Student Minister.

Kirby is the son of Michael and Toni Kirby and plans to major in business.
