Golf Team Moves to 13-1 on the Season

The Varsity Golf team captured their final match prior to Spring Break, defeating St. Amant, Baton Rouge High and Lee High at LSU on Wednesday, March 23.  The Bears had a team score of 153 and defeated their closest competitor, St. Amant, by 35 strokes. The Bears are now 13-1 on the season with one week remaining in the regular season.

Senior Connor Wilson was the individual match winner, shooting a one under par 36. Senior Stewart Perillloux finished one stroke behind Wilson to finish second with an even par round of 37.  Freshman Carson Caruso shot a 39 to log a third place overall finish.

The Bears will travel to Lake Charles to play in the St. Louis Catholic Golf Invitational on Monday, March 28, and Tuesday, March 29.  The tournament will be played at The National Golf Club of Louisiana and Gray Plantation Golf Course.
