Individuals Compete in Bowling Playoffs Today at Don Carter

Three Catholic High Bowling Team members will compete in the singles round of the playoff today, Thursday, April 4, at Don Carter All Star Lanes beginning at 1 p.m.

Curtis Westmoland, Andres Aguilar and Timmy Huffstickler will compete in today’s playoffs.

Curtis Westmoland, a junior and an experienced bowler, averages 205.  High game this season was a 258. High game in his bowling career for Catholic was 299 last season. He has been named district MVP three times in his freshman, sophomore and junior year.  Westmoland has the highest average in district. He has also been named to 1st team all district all three years on the team and won outstanding bowler at the sports convocation for the last three years.

Andres Aguilar, a senior, started the season with a 146 average and now has a 174 average. High game this season was a 246 against Denham.  He was named to 2nd team all district this year and won the Coaches Award last season at the Sports Convocation.

Timmy Huffstickler, a senior and oldest current team member he has been on the team since he started at Catholic High.  His average was a 146 this year. Highest game this year was shot in the playoff against Central and was a  216.
