James Claitor Signs To Wrestle at California Polytechnic State University

James Claitor has signed to wrestle at California Polytechnic State University. 

Claitor is a two-time stat champion in his weight division, two-time metro champion and two-time metro MVP. He was named an NHSCA High School All-American and placed fifth in the country.  Wrestling USA Magazine named him Honorable Mention High School All-American.  Claitor is the 8th Catholic High Wrestler to be named All-American and the first to sign at a NCAA Division I school. 

“The coach approached me at nationals after I had been named All-American and said he needed someone in my weight division.  I visited the school  at Easter and liked the school and team,” commented Claitor.

James plans to major in business and is the son of Sharmaine and Dan Claitor.
