Jay Jackson Named CHS Distinguished Graduate

Jay Jackson, Class of 1971, will be honored as Catholic High’s Distinguished Graduate at the Diocesan Distinguished Graduate Awards Dinner on January 29th as part of the celebration of Catholic Schools Week.

Jackson is an active member of St. George Parish and has served on the Parish Council of Ministers. He is a leader of the St. George Prison Ministry Team and a junior high Catechist for 11 years. At Catholic High he has helped with senior retreats, facilitated Parent-to Parent meetings and volunteered with band and Mothers’ Club events.

Jay serves as Advertising Account Representative at The Advocate and received the 2007 Baton Rouge Sales and Marketing Executives International Distinguished Sales Award.

Jay is married to Joyce Jackson and they have two sons: Kyle, a 2007 graduate of CHS and Bret, a sophomore at CHS.
