Jeffrey Garidel Signed To Play Baseball With Tulane
Jeffrey Garidel ’04 joins the ranks of CHS graduates who continue their athletic career at the collegiate level. Garidel transferred to Tulane University in January 2005 and will play baseball for the Green Wave.
At Catholic High, Garidel played short stop for the Bears. He was 4-5A All District Utility Player in 2004 and 2003; named to the Louisiana High School 5-A Academic All-State team as short stop; received the CHS Baseball Student-Athlete Award winner and played in the Louisiana High School All Star Game. In 2003, he received the CHS Baseball Highest Batting Average award. He was also named a CHS Man of the Year for his leadership, service and dedication to the school.

Garidel will play second base for Tulane.
