Jude Stewart Signs To Play Soccer at Centenary

Senior Jude Stewart has committed to Centenary College to play soccer and has accepted an academic scholarship to the school.

Stewart, a CHS goalkeeper, is a three-year letterman at Catholic High and was lst Team All-District his senior year.

‘I chose Centenary College because of its solid soccer program. I like the campus and the atmosphere and I knew I would get a top of the line education,’ commented Stewart.

The soccer program at Centenary College in Shreveport, La. is a Division I program.

‘Jude is our second signing in Soccer this season. This shows the growth of our program here at Catholic High. Jude’s maturity and hard work have paid off,’ commented CHS Head Soccer Coach Bo Cassidy ’98.

Stewart is the son of Russell and Jill Stewart and plans to major in history.
