Kam Cummings Sets School Record At Indoor Track State Qualifier
The second of three indoor track qualifiers took place on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse at LSU. The Bears were paced by Kam Cummings in the 55 meter hurdles with a blistering time of 8.10. The final clocking was a school record for Cummings, the two-time defending state indoor champ in the 55 hurdles.
The 4×800 won its second consecutive meet relay with a clocking of 8:26. The two mile relay team participants were Eric Anderson, Matthew Howell, Brian Miller and Harold Miller.

The Last Chance Meet will be the final indoor qualifier for the Bears and for teams around the state. The meet will be hosted by LSU on Saturday, Feb. 4. The starter’s pistol gets the athletes started at 11 a.m.
