Lacrosse Team Defeats Rummel with Score of 8-3

The Lacrosse Team had a successful weekend with a victory over the Rummel Raiders. Junior Gerard Zimmerman scored a game-high three goals to lead the Bears to an 8-3 victory. Sophomore Jake Guba added a pair of goals, and senior Brennan Stutes had two assists to help Catholic win its third straight game. Juniors Graves Kelly and Jordan Boudreaux and sophomore Tyler Hood also scored goals. Seniors Gerald Songy and Nick Gerrets and Junior Landon Babin each added one assist. The defense of Patrick Mart, Clark DeMars, Kyle Treloar, Chris Forestier and Andrew Giorlando was once again solid, and junior goalie Dominic Calato saved four shots.

The Lacrosse Team will be in action again February 6-8 in the Jesuit for Sugar Bowl Tournament at Jesuit.
