Lacrosse Teams Compete in Ocean Springs, MS

The U-15 CHS Lacrosse team went to Hammond to complete against the North Shore Spartans. This was the third game of the year for the squad.  They couldní´t over come the Spartan goalieí´s hot hand and only scored two goals, while giving up seven. The loss put the squads record at 1-2.

The varsity and JV squads took a charter bus over to Ocean Spring, Mississippi, to take on the Greyhounds from Ocean Springs. What started out as a slow game, quickly turned away from the Bears. With CHS goals from Caleb Barber and Holden David, the Bears lost 8-2 and go to 0-2 on the year. After the varsity game, the JV took to the field and were able to jump out to a quick lead and walked away with an 8-2 victory. The victory brings the JV squadí´s record to 2-0.

All three squads will return to the field this Saturday, Jan. 30, when they participate in the Allstate Sugar Bowl Lacrosse Classic in Hammond at Chappapeela Sports Park.
