More Than 100 Guests Enjoy CHS Men’s Club Guys’ Night Out!

The Catholic High School MenÕs Club hosted its second GuysÕ Night Out on Thursday, February 16, 2017. The event was an opportunity to thank current members for their continued support of CHS, and for prospective members to learn about the MenÕs Club and how they too can get involved.

The evening began with a social hour, where old friends reconnected and newcomers had the opportunity to meet and mingle with current members. Pre-meal festivities also included a $5 raffle for a Carbon Steel Texas Style BBQ Pit valued at $350. Congratulations to Jay Christina for winning the raffle.

Following the raffle, the 120 guests were treated to a barbeque chicken dinner with all the fixings. The featured speaker for the evening was East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore. Moore, a Brother Martin graduate and a CHS MenÕs Club member, highlighted several programs and resources used by his office and the city to combat and prevent crime.
The MenÕs Club GuysÕ Night Out event is just one of several events the MenÕs Club sponsors throughout the year. For more information on upcoming events or how you can become a member and help support Catholic High School, click here.
