More Than 1,100 Guests Visit CHS At 30th Annual Open House

On Thursday, Nov. 10, CHS hosted its 30th annual open house for prospective students. Young men in grades 6-8 and their parents were invited to tour campus, meet faculty and students, and experience firsthand what makes CHS so special. More than 1,100 guests attended the event, representing 46 different schools from Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Students and parents had the opportunity to learn about the history and mission of the school, and see CHS students in action. Prospective students also got a sneak peek at the new CHS STREAM Lab and curriculum, and the role it will play in developing the 21st century skills our students need to address real world issues in the areas of science, technology, religion, engineering, arts and mathematics.
