More Than 200 Attend Screening Of I Lived On Parker Avenue
On Sunday evening in the CHS gym, the Louisiana Right to Life Federation presented a screening of I Lived on Parker Avenue, hosted by the CHS Respect Life Club. With an audience of more than 200 from CHS and the Baton Rouge community, the event was an amazing opportunity for all present to consider the beauty of the life-giving choice of adoption. Following pizza and fellowship, Ben Clapper, the executive director of the Louisiana Right to Life Federation, introduced the film and welcomed David Scotton and his family who are featured in it. Representatives from Catholic Charities, Paula Davis and Stephanie Sterling, were on hand to share information about their work with adoption services here in Baton Rouge. The night concluded with a presentation by Mr. Scotton followed by questions and dialogue with the audience.
The film is set to be released to the public in an online format in March of 2018. Click here to see a trailer and learn more about the film.
