Mu Alpha Theta Places Second in Math Tournament

Eight students and four teams from Catholic High School placed in the St. Paul’s High School Math Tournament on November 10, 2007.

Those placing individually were Scott Causey, first place in Calculus; Andrew Stewart, first place in Pre-Calculus; Andrew Mire, third place in Geometry; David Stewart, honorable mention in Geometry; Kurt Ristroph, first place in Algebra I; Steven Olsen, first place in Algebra I; Ethan Beaman, third place in Algebra I; and Stephen Crosby, honorable mention in Algebra I.

Student teams placing in the tournament were Scott Causey, Chris Sciortino, Aaron Caffarel and Michael Thomas, second place in Calculus; Andre Stewart, Andre Wiggens and Zack Talbot, honorable mention in Pre-Calculus; Andrew Mire, David Stewart, Ian Runnels and Peter Sicard, second place in Geometry; and Stephen Crosby, Ethan Beaman, Steven Olsen and Kurt Ristroph, first place in Algebra I.
