National Honor Society Presents Check To 4thekids Baton Rouge
The CHS National Honor Society presented a check to James Chastain Õ14, a member of the Board of Directors for 4thekids on March 16. “ItÕs always great to see CHS alumni who are still embracing the charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart by serving in the community,” said NHS moderator Sherry Brouillette. The money was raised from the NHS membership dues which are always used for charitable purposes.
ÒWe were happy to donate to 4thekids, because we knew that our money was going towards something wonderful,Ó said senior Zack Crawford, NHS president.
4thekids Baton Rouge, Inc. is a teen-founded charity organized in 2012 to expand and improve the childrenÕs hospital facilities in Baton Rouge, and to encourage and promote teen involvement in an endeavor for the construction of a freestanding childrenÕs hospital in our capital city of Louisiana.
