Orientation Follow-Up Information
“The two day orientation process went smoothly for our students,” commented Janet Vidrine, activities director and coordinator of student orientation. “We always expect some things will have to be adjusted. PE clothes, ID cards, students misplace their locks, parents forgot to purchase school picture, etc. Do not be alarmed; everything can be fixed!”
If a student cannot find his ID card, he should come by the Activities Office (off of the Main Lobby) before school for a replacement card. The replacement card, lanyard and holder will cost $5, and can be purchased between 7 a.m. and 7:25 a.m. without consequences. Once the school day begins, there will be consequences given to anyone who is not wearing his ID card.

The bookstore ran out of a few sizes of PE clothes, but these sizes have been ordered and should arrive in a few days. If your son has the wrong size shirt or shorts, he should bring the item to the bookstore for a credit on his account. Once the out-of-stock sizes arrive, he can purchase the correct size using the account credit.
For bookstore item exchanges (PE shirts or shorts) students should visit the bookstore before school or during the studentí´s lunch period. Parents are asked to please allow your son the opportunity to visit the bookstore on his own.

Cafeteria payments may be made online by going to the CHS homepage and selecting food services at the top of the page. Please have your soní´s student ID number available when making these payments. Checks, cash and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover) are also accepted at the bookstore.
