Over 200 Golfers Participate in Annual Golf Classic

Over 200 golfers attended the 22nd annual Catholic High Alumni Golf Classic at the University Club Golf Course. Golfers were treated to breakfast by the University Club, lunch by Carrabbaí´s Italian Grill and a fried fish dinner prepared by Pete Hymel. Poboys on the course were provided by Manda Fine Meats. Golfers were treated to cold beverages provided by Baton Rouge Coca Cola, Hi-Nabor and Zippyí´s. Each golfer received a $50 coupon for Nike products and enjoyed shopping at the on-site Nike Store.

An outstanding job was done by the 2011 Alumni Golf Classic committee chaired by Dale LeBlanc í´95. Committee members were Josh Rounds í´96, Jay Himmel í´01, Mark Stratmann í´97, Camp Matens í´60, Terry Orillion í´77, Jake Berret í´84, Dane Lambert í´04, Glen Randow, director of alumni relations, and Barbara Camp, alumni events coordinator.
