Prospective Students Visit CHS on Information Nights
CHS hosted its second of two Information Nights on Sunday, October 21. More than 150 students and their parents came to CHS Information Nights this year to learn a little more about the school. The students and parents were able to hear, in greater detail, about the four components of the holistic education provided at CHS, which were established by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. The four components are Religious Values, Friendly Discipline, Academic Excellence and Personal Attention.
After the group discussion, students were split into small groups and had the opportunity to learn more about extracurriculars, athletics and religion from CHS Student Ambassadors. The visiting students also had the opportunity to participate in a CHS pep rally. The parents went to different classrooms where they had the opportunity to hear about education at CHS.
The evening ended with a reception in the Union.
CHS Information Nights provide a different look into the culture of Catholic High School.
íÍI love giving parents and students the opportunity to attend information nights because it allows them to ask questions of our faculty, staff and students in a small group setting,íñ said Sherie LeBlanc, Director of Admissions.
