Senior Andrew Chenevert Earns Rank of Eagle Scout
CHS Senior Andrew Chenevert received the Eagle Scout rank on March 15 in a Court of Honor at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Eagle is the highest Boy Scouts rank.
Only one in 99 scouts will achieve this rank. Beginning at the age of 11, the scouts begin working on the 21 required merit badges needed to earn the rank, as well as completing a service project for a non-profit organization to demonstrate leadership, in order to become an Eagle Scouts by the age of 18.
A member of Troop 888, his Scout master is Chad Marxsen. His parents are Roy and Kelly Chenevert. His Eagle project was a community drive for personal hygiene kits at St. Vincent dePaul outreach center.
