Senior Dillon Cain Places First In Motocross Championship Race

Senior Dillon Cain gets a first place finish at the AMA District 19 Motocross Championship Race on Feb. 18 and 19, in Grand Cane, LA. In the 450 C class, Cain finished both motos in first place to take the championship win in that division. In a separate division, a second and third place finish in two motos gave Cain a third place overall finish in the 250 C class.

At the tri-state qualifier two weeks prior to the championships, Cain had to finish in the top eight to qualify for the finals. He completed the qualifiers with a first place finish in the 450 C class and a second place finish in the 250 C class. 

In August, Cain plans on competing in the largest amateur motocross race of the year, the Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta LynnÕs Ranch in Tennessee. To qualify, heÕll need to finish in the top eight at the South Central Area Qualifier in Mississippi (March), followed by a top six finish at the South Central Regional Qualifier in Texas (June).
