Senior Lance Rodriguez Is The 2016 Wendy’s High School Heisman Program Winner

CHS senior Lance Rodriguez was selected as the school winner in the 2016 WendyÕs High School Heisman program. This program was created by WendyÕs founder Dave Thomas in 1994 and honors high school scholar-athletes for excellence in the classroom and in sports. 

Rodriguez, who is a valuable member of the CHS swim team (3x Division I State Champions), is also the state vice president of student council, secretary of the award-winning CHS choir, and is a member of student ministry, national honor society, Spanish club, student ambassadors, and respect life. He joins other previous CHS winners such as Chris Handy Õ12 (track), Joe St. Cyr Õ13 (track & cross country), Alex Goay Õ14 (swimming), Josh Campbell Õ15 (soccer) and Chase Brouillette Õ16 (swimming).
