Senior Sanders Davis commits to Dartmouth College

Catholic High Senior Sanders Davis has signed a letter of intent to play football at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Davis, an offensive tackle for the Bears, was a two-year starter for Catholic High.  He earned first-team All-District 5-5A honors and played for the Rough Riders in the U.S. Army Red Stick Bowl in December.

íÍI knew I wanted to attend an Ivy League school,íñ commented Davis.  “Dartmouth is the epitome of where you can be a student/athlete and obtain the best education possible,íñ added Davis.

Davis is the son of Stan and Shan Davis and he plans to major in biology.  He currently holds a 3.91 grade-point average.

Catholic High students have signed to play collegiate football for the last 22 consecutive years.  Since 1988, the school has seen 104 players have the opportunity to play collegiate football.
