Seniors Andrishok And Lambert Selected For 2018 All-Star Game
CHS senior Bear baseball players Austin Andrishok and Brennan Lambert were named to the East roster to participate in the 2018 All-Star Baseball Game. The All-Star game, sponsored by the Louisiana High School Coaches Association and the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association, will be played on May 18-19 at Louisiana College in Pineville. Andrishok and Lambert will be joined on the East team by players from several schools including Zachary, University Lab, Archbishop Rummel, West Ouachita and John Curtis.
Andrishok, a left-handed pitcher, signed with junior college powerhouse LSU-Eunice. Andrishok will finish his career as a four-year letterman and has been a member of two state finalist teams (2015 and 2017). Lambert is a right-handed hitting catcher who signed with Southland Conference Division I power Lamar University. Lambert was also a member of both state finalist teams in 2015 and 2017.
The two Bears are looking forward to their All-Star game experience, but have bigger fish to fry on their way to Pineville – making a run to the state tournament in Sulphur and winning a Division I state championship for Catholic High.
