Seniors Participate in Job Shadowing Day
On Monday, April 22, Catholic High seniors participated in the first CHS Job Shadowing Day. Each senior spent six hours with a professional in a career of interest to him in order to see what the profession is like on a daily basis.
The goal of the day, which was organized by the CHS Guidance Department, was to help seniors explore possible future careers so they have an idea of what to study in college. Seniors spent the day with many different professionals, including engineers, journalists, doctors, policemen, firefighters, psychiatrists and teachers.
Participating in Job Shadowing Day is a graduation requirement, and seniors will write a reflection paper about their day in their English IV classes.
