Six CHS Seniors Recognized with CYLA Honors

Six CHS seniors were recognized as Catholic Youth Leaders by the Knights of Columbus at the Area F Founder’s Banquet on Saturday, April 11, 2015, which was held at St. Pius X and hosted by the St. Pius X Knights of Columbus council.

Each council recognized one boy and one girl.  This recognition is given to young Catholic adults who have well exemplified Catholic leadership in their community and have made outstanding achievements in high school.  Each student recognized will receive a scholarship from the Knights of Columbus council that selected them.

CHS students recognized were Brett Vidrine, Sacred Heart; Jack Gonsoulin, St. Aloysius; Landon Pourciau, St. Thomas More; Daniel Wolf, St. Jean Vianney; Andrew Chenevert, Most Blessed Sacrement; and Gaven Devillier, St. John Brusly.

Additionally, Brett Vidrine was the Baton Rouge Diocesan Catholic Youth Leader recipient.
