Soccer Team Defeats Woodlawn in Jamboree
The CHS soccer teams faired well in the Woodlawn Jamboree. The varsity defeated Woodlawn 1-0 in the first game on a goal by Sean Cotton. The second game against Dutchtown ended in a scoreless tie. The JV team also had a successful outing defeating Dutchtown 3-0 in the first game thanks to 2 goals scored by Taylor Scott and 1 goal by Christopher Palotta. David Attenhofer scored the only goal against St. Amant for a 1-0 victory in the second game.
The soccer team is in action again Wednesday night against Mandeville. The varsity game will begin at 6 p.m. at Independence Park.
The freshmen soccer game this afternoon against Dunham has been moved to the Burbank soccer complex on field #6.
