Soccer Team Finishes District By Defeating District Rival Baton Rouge High

The soccer team finished the district season with a convincing victory over district rival Baton Rouge High on Saturday. The final score was 7-1. Scoring for the Bears were Rick Guerrero with 3 goals and BJ Reine, Rusty Sanchez, Kyle Robert and Matt Allen with 1 goal each. The Bears finish with a perfect 12-0 district record and have a 19-5 overall record. The final regular season game will be played Tuesday night at U-High and the playoffs will start this weekend.
The JV soccer team also finished the district season with an undefeated record. They came from behind to defeat Baton Rouge High by a score of 2-1. Anthony Cane’s goal tied the score and Stephen Porter scored the game winner. Great job Bears!
