Student Athletes Recognized at Spring Sports Convocation

Catholic High School honored members of the baseball, track and field, bowling, tennis and golf teams at the Spring Sports Convocation on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Athletes received varsity letterman certificates, and special awards were presented in each sport.

Receiving awards in baseball were Hunter D’Armond, Highest Batting Average; Nick Coomes, íÍGolden Gloveíñ Award; Tyler Shipley, Student Athlete Award (the Clyde Didier Memorial Award); and Ross Pitre, íÍ110 Percentíñ Award (the Brent Pecue Memorial Award).

Award recipients in track and field were Arthur Price, Outstanding Trackman; Ross Quinlan, Outstanding Fieldman; Pierce Hill, Outstanding Distance Man (the Brett Devall Memorial Award); and Davis Richardson, Coachí´s Award.

Awards in bowling went to Curtis Westmoland, Outstanding Bowler and D.J. Rayborn, Coachí´s Award.

Receiving awards in tennis were Michael Paul Bienvenu, Most Valuable Player and Matthew Greene, Coachí´s Award.
