Students Place in State Literary Rally

Four students from Catholic High School received top honors in the State Literary Rally held at Louisiana State University on April 5.

Receiving first place was Hunter Rube, Calculus.  Third place finishers were Christopher Alumbaugh, Civics; and Joshua Worley, French II.   Finishing in fourth place was Andrew Harris, Algebra I.

In addition, students receiving a Superior rating were Chandler Denison, Spanish IV Interpretive Reading; Denver Denison, Spanish II Interpretive Reading; Pablo Rosas, French II Interpretive Reading; and Grant Rothermel, Boys Vocal Solo Low Voice.

Receiving Excellent ratings were Luke Williams, Spanish III Interpretive Reading; Parkes Winder, Spanish II Extemporaneous Speaking; Jack Gonsoulin, Spanish III Extemporaneous Speaking; Diego Matus, French III Extemporaneous Speaking; Ethan Barbin, French III Interpretive Reading; and Ryan Haycook, French I Interpretive Reading.
