The closing of the program featured the Armed Forces Medley recognizing veterans in attendance and all singing íÍGod Bless America.íñ
A reception, hosted by the CHS Mothersí´ Club, was held after the program in the Centennial Courtyard and the CHS Union. The CHS Photography Club was present in the Courtyard to take memento photographs of the guests and their grandsons. Students led their grandparents on tours of the campus.
Students submitted writings about their grandparents that were featured in the day’s program. Click here to see a comprehensive listing of all student writings.
