Summer at CHS To Offer Adult Leisure Courses

Summer at CHS continues to add new and exciting courses each year.  Beginning in the summer of 2012, not only will students as young as eight-years-old be able to enjoy these exciting new courses but parents will have the opportunity to join in the fun at Catholic High as well!

Four new Adult Leisure courses have been added to this summer’s schedule.  Building Strong Catholic Families is a course that will use proven techniques for building stronger Catholic identity
within our families and will discuss specific strategies for parents, grandparents and children in order to reinforce what it means to be a strong Catholic family. Evolution of Rock is an in depth study of the origins of popular music in 20th century America.  Digital Photography and Videography is a course designed to get the most out of your digital cameras and video cameras.  And, Yoglates is a combination of calisthenics, yoga and Pilates. The entire workout will allow for resistance training, cardiovascular training and stretching.

Summer camps at Catholic High will run from June 4 í July 20, 2012.  Course times and exact dates can be found in the Summer at CHS brochure, which can be picked up in the front office or visit the Catholic High website at www.catholichigh.org/summeratchs to download a brochure.

Please contact Mrs. Sherie LeBlanc or Ms. Nancy Patout at (225) 383-0397 or summerprogram@catholichigh.org for questions regarding program activities or registration.
