We also achieved:
–   18 new state meet cuts
–   Won 9/11 events

“Overall, it was a good to get 18 more qualified for state meet. The more kids we get qualified in each event, the more options for our line-up we will have when it comes time for city and state. These two meets were good warm ups for what is coming next,” commented Head Swim Coach Doug Logsdon.

On Friday September 27 the Bears will travel to Mobile, Alabama to compete in the McGill Toolin Gulf Coast Invite. The meet will feature McGill-Toolin, Fairhope High School, UMS-Wright High School and Bob Jones High School. It will represent their toughest competition of the year, and will be the first prelims-finals state meet format meet they compete in.

“The team is looking forward to the tougher competition and the meet format to get us ready for state meet in November,” stated Coach Logsdon.
