The CHS/SJA Symphonic Band and Symphonic Winds received the Sweepstakes trophy at the Louisiana Music Educators Association’s District IV Band Festival.  The Sweepstakes trophy is the highest award given. Of 39 bands participating during the festival, only five schools earned this honor.  

The CHS/SJA Bands will perform at the Spring Band Concert on April 15, at the LSU Union Theater.
