The America Supports You Freedom Walk To Remember Lt. Michael Scott Lamana ’88

The America Supports You Freedom Walk remembering lives lost on September 11, 2001 and 2012 will take place on Saturday, September 7 at 8:30 a.m. at the USS KIDD Veterans Memorial and Museum.

The walk is a tradition reflecting on the lives lost on September 11, 2001 and 2012 and renewing our commitment to freedoms and to the values of our country, in addition to honoring our veterans, past and present.

In particular, this walk seeks to reflect on the Louisiana lives lost on those days. Louisiana men who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 are CHS alumnus Lt. Michael Scott Lamana í´88, Kevin Yokum,  Louis Calvin Williams, Leo Russell Keen and Robert J. Hymel.

USS Kidd Memorial and Museum will open at 8:00 a.m. The museum will be free to the public during the ceremony.
