The Bears Defeat McKinley 27-6

The Catholic High Bears had a 27-6 victory over McKinley on Friday, Oct. 24. The Bears are now 7-1 and 3-0 in district. 

Derrius Guice scored a one-yard touchdown in the first four minutes of the game followed by an extra point by Jack Gonsoulin for a 7-0 lead. Landon Flowers scored the Bearsí´ second touchdown and Clyde Edwards-Helaire had both of the Bearsí´ second half touchdowns.

This Friday, the Bears will take on Woodlawn (5-3) at Olympia Stadium. Last week, Woodlawn fell to St. Amant 28-24. Tickets for the game are available in the Bookstore for $7 in advance and $8 at the gate.
