The “Big Orange Wave” placed nine runners in the top ten to run away with the team title at the Nicholls State Invitational.

This past weekend the CHS cross-country team won its’ third consecutive invitational meet with another impressive performance. The “Big Orange Wave” placed nine runners in the top ten to run away with the team title at the Nicholls State Invitational. The team score of 18 points was the lowest score ever recorded in the forty year history of the meet.

Top Ten finishers for the Bears were:

  • Owen Simon (1st)
  • Joseph Ellis (2nd)
  • Luke Bella (4th)
  • Blake Cook (5th)
  • Ben Langley (6th)
  • Daniel Sullivan (7th)
  • Chris Cuntz (8th)
  • Blaison Treuil (9th) and
  • Matthew Hubbell (10th)

Next competition for the Wave will be this Saturday, September 28th at the St. Paul’s Invitational.
