The soccer Bears take to the pitch tonight at home on the Catholic High turf with a district title on the line.

Game time is for 6pm with the Bear Nation tailgate set to kick off at 6pm.

Denham Springs has suffered just two losses on the season and has played suffocating defense lately, which is a concern to director of soccer Sanders Davis. “The Yellow Jackets play a organized style of ball on offense and defense. Their staff has done a superb job of creating set pieces off of the limited opportunities allowed to their opponents. Defense has been Denham’s staple down the stretch. It should be a great atmosphere tonight for soccer and fans will be treated to a competitive match on the pitch.”

Catholic is currently 7th in the latest Division I power ratings. The Bears losses have come to #1 St. Paul’s and #2 Jesuit. Ben Hupperich leads the Bears with 13 goals on the season. Denham Springs sits 5th in the power ratings coming into tonight’s contest.
